In this year of his 150th birthday J. Thomas Looney has been gifted with an ebook edition of his triumphant 1920 publication, Shakespeare Identified in Edward DeVere, Seventeenth Earl of Oxford. James Warren, editor of the centennial edition of Shakespeare Identified (Veritas Publications, 2019) released his electronic version from Kindle Direct Publishing on April 5, 2020. The cost is $9.
"I'm just glad the Kindle edition is live," Warren said. "It's something that had been on my to-do list for a long time."
Readers can access Shakespeare Identified Kindle edition on any device by downloading the Kindle app. Learn how at "Get started with the free Kindle app".
The formatting in the Kindle edition includes features such as Kindle's Wordwise, Enhanced typesetting, Page Flip, searching, highlighting and notetaking, as well as hotlinked footnotes. Warren said a difficulty with the table of contents was resolved under consultation with the publisher, KDP.
And he got it all done in time to wish happy birthday to Mr. Looney!
